Lecture by Prof Nigel Biggar at Redeemer University on Feb 28

Nigel Biggar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigel_Biggar) will give a lecture at Redeemer University on Friday morning, February 28, 2024. The title he has proposed is. “Colonialism: What should Christians think?” related to his recently published book, titled, Colonialism: A Moral Reckoning.

Prof Biggar has done the “unacceptable” work of refusing to paint colonialism with a broad brush and, while admitting its many evils, has identified ways in which colonialism enhanced human dignity, for instance.

The auditorium has been booked on Friday, February 28 from 9:00-10:30am for this event, and the event will be jointly sponsored by the Faculty Mentoring program and the Wolters Center.
